Grades have been posted! I am happy to report that I got my A in my A&P II class!! Whew, what a relief. I was really starting to stress a little last week. Everything was pretty much riding on that grade. I'm pretty sure I drove my husband crazy this weekend while I was glued to the computer pressing "refresh" over and over again.

Now it’s time to relax. (ok, at least try to relax). I decided to take everyone’s advice and take a break. We have the big family vacation coming up in a few weeks, then after that I will be doing nothing but studying for my HESI. I’m not too worried about the reading part (the only part that really counts for points in the entrance requirements) but I am worried about the math portion. I’m not the best at math and I haven’t looked at fractions in at least 10 years! That part I have to just pass with at least a 70 but knowing how important it is to nursing, I would really like to brush up as much as I can on my math skills.

But for now the relaxing begins.

Of course it might take me a little while to figure out exactly how to relax.

  1. Congrats!!!!! Must feel so good!

  2. well hot damn!! Congrats on the A!! How exciting!!!! One step closer to NS :) You must be so relieved... and I'm so glad to hear you are taking the time off to relax, I thought you were a little crazy when you said, "maybe I should take another class," but I wasn't going to say anything. Then again, I've been a full time student for 17+ years... the thought of "taking on another class" will NEVER cross my mind bahaha ;)

I'm still bitter about my grade in A&P II. At the campus I'm applying to a 90 (the grade I got) is an A. At the campus where I took the class a 92 is the lowest A. So I have a B on my damn transcript even though it's all within the same friggin college.

I think I'm going to do the BSN program and put off nursing school for another 4 months... bittersweet.

PS. Have you heard from Missy Prissy lately????

  3. Congrats!!! :)

I have to take classes this summer, no choice in the matter. This is my first year that I will get NO break. We will see how this goes!

Hope you have a very relaxing time!

  4. Awesome!! Congratulations!!!

    Well done.

I hear ya on the relaxing part.
I sat here ydy after my final and just kept asking myself, "Now what do I do?!"

I was so deep in everything I even forgot to request books to pick up at the library!

    Again, congrats and enjoy it.

  5. Congrats on the A! Allowing yourself to actually relax is the hardest part!

  6. YEAAAAA!!!!!!!! Super congrats to you!!!
