What have I gotten myself into??

Feast your eyes on my arsenal of first semester nursing textbooks (with my fancy new Littmann thrown in for good measure.) Most are “required” while only about three of these are extras I picked up for the fun of it.

Looks exciting doesn’t it?

I will totally admit to being a nerd about these books. I ordered them from a million different places (thank you dealoz.com) and started stacking them up in a proud “little” pile as they all started coming in.

Now, they intimidate the hell out of me.

How in the hell am I going to learn all of that in my first semester?

  1. What a beautiful display! I love your Littmann, I hope to get mine soon. Don't worry I'm here for you being a first semester student as well. We'll get through this intimidating semester together.

  2. zomg. I love, love, LOVE [!!!] posts like this. Maybe it is because I am a total dork and just adore seeing what textbooks other nursing students are using. Or it could be because I have some voyeuristic tendencies...either way, keep 'em comin', doll. :-)

Also, words just don't do those things justice. A pic really is worth a thousand (or in this case, a few million) words.

  4. You will learn most of what you need to learn. You won't learn all of it. Breathe. You'll do great!

  5. Oh...and that Fluid and Electrolytes made incredibly easy book? KEEP IT. I still use mine as a reference at home. Almost 10 years after nursing school graduation.

  7. You'll learn what you need to know. It's amazing all the knowledge you stuff into your brain until after you take the N-CLEX.........just remember to breathe and you won't die if you get a B. Seriously, a B will not kill you.

  8. Yeah, I know, I'm random, but I ran across another nursing student's blog. :)

LOVE the stethoscope! I kind of wish I'd gotten that color instead of brown. Good luck!
